(Almost) Full Moon at Smoky Mountain Tower

Did we tell you we made a fast trip to Gatlinburg?  Oops - guess not.  But here we are at Smoky Mountain Tower, getting a lot of maintenance work done. as well as restocking all our supplies.

But I just took time out to go up to the Tower deck and enjoy the (almost) full moon.  You can even see Mt. LeConte through the trees.  The moon will actually be full Thursday afternoon, but we'll be back home by then (and it's hard to see a full moon during the day!).

I figured you might like to enjoy it with me, so here's a photo.

You know, you can see the full moon in person from Smoky Mountain Tower.  We're already booked for the October full moon.  But the November full moon is Sunday, November 17 - and Smoky Mountain Tower is still available for the dates around that time.  So make your plans now, and make your reservation quickly.  You, too, can enjoy the full moon live and in person!
