We are now ready for your 2013 reservations!

Last night, I opened up all the dates for 2013 and posted the rates.  And I have good news and bad news.

The GOOD news is that, as of now, we haven't changed our rates for 2013 (except we have eliminated the intermediate rate grouping for the month of May).

The BAD news is that these rates are likely to change before the end of 2012.  If you check other similar cabins or chalets in the Gatlinburg area, you will find that we are among the very lowest in our total cost.  We only charge the nightly rate plus the required 12.75% tax.  Other cabins start out looking like they are cheaper, because their nightly rate might be a little less.  But then they add a registration fee and cleaning fees, and sometimes extra-person fees and even hot tub fees.  So they turn out to be more expensive.

For example, I just priced a cabin from a management company that was only 1,700 square feet, two bedrooms and two baths - but they say they sleep 8 people (they have futons and sofa-sleepers in addition to 2 beds).  The nightly rate was $135.00 - vs. our regular rate of $149.00.  But with their $99.00 cleaning fee and their $50.00 registration fee, their total for 3 nights came out about $50.00 more than our total.

We're working hard to keep our rates as low as possible.  But we're going to have to increase rates at some point.  So if you want to save some money, plan ahead and book your 2013 vacation now.
