Good things come in 3's

This will be a quickie.  Here are three pieces of news for you.

Secondly, remember our post recently about the statue of Dolly Parton in front of the Sevier County Courthouse?  Well, if you want to see it, you'd better hurry.  I just found out that the statue is going to be replaced with a statue of Dolly's god-daughter, Miley Cyrus.  You can get more details at VisitMySmokies.

And finally, we just found out that our Chalet Village Owners Club has expanded the discount program for restaurants, attractions and shopping in the Gatlinburg area.  When you stay with us, you get a free pass that entitles you to discounts of 20% and more at more than 25 establishments in Gatlinburg.  You can see the whole list at at the Chalet Village Owners Club website.

So here's the deal!

In our last post (Thursday), we told you we had a lot of open dates in April and May.  So we asked you to tell us what would be the best deal for you during these dates.

Your response:  NOTHING!  Zero, zip, nada!  We didn't get a single comment from anybody!

Are we to assume from this is that you think our already-low everyday price is already a deal?  Hey, it's only $159.00 per night, plus tax.  Where else can you find a price that good for cabins bigger than 2,500 square feet, with game rooms, pool tables, hot tubs, five cable TVs and more?  In fact, in a review posted by Tina last Friday, she said, "My father was also impressed with the price, saying he doubted he could have done as well as I did."  You can read the whole review on our All Decked Out website.

Then I talked with Marcia about it.  I said, "We haven't heard anything, so what do you think the deal should be?"  Her response:  "NO DEAL!"  She explained it this way:  "Dad, for three years you have been asking the Lord to fill these cabins.  He doesn't need a deal to fill them, and any deal you offer won't make any difference to Him.  Just let Him do what He wants to do!"

Good advice, Marcia.  We are trusting the Lord to bring to us the guests He wants to stay with us at All Decked Out and Smoky Mountain Tower.  And when He doesn't bring guests, we will trust Him for the next step.  You know, that will be the BEST DEAL for everybody!
