Nothing happens by 'accident.'

Do you believe that 'nothing happens by accident?'  Phyllis and I do.  You see, we are born-again Christians, having accepted Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.  So HE is in control of everything that happens in our lives.

Therefore, when we run a one-day sale and only book 6 nights, that's a human disappointment.  But, since Christ is in control, we know He has a better plan.  The results of our sale have become an answer to a major question in our lives: what is our future as it relates to Gatlinburg?

What a difference 17 years makes!

Our big 17th anniversary sale is in full swing.  We've already received some reservations - and one guest has been disappointed because he waited until this morning to make his reservations, and somebody booked his dates last night at 12:02 am.  So PLEASE don't wait.  We hate it when people are disappointed!

We thought you would like to see how things have changed at All Decked Out since we bought it 17 years ago today.  Take a look!

 ...and here it is today.  As you can see, we added the front deck (porch) and the wood bin - and a tree has grown up by the wood bin.

This is the Main Room 17 years ago (our realtor is sitting by the fireplace, and Phyllis is on the couch)...

 ...and here is the same view today!  About the only thing that hasn't changed in 17 years is the hearth and the kitchen counter-top!

 ...and here's the same view today (without Phyllis!).  Same kitchen cabinets and counter-top, same hearth, same ash bucket.  But everything else is different - even the dining area chandelier!

 Now we move upstairs.  Here's the upper level bedroom 17 years ago...

 Moving down to the lower level Family/Game room, you can see the pool table 17 years ago...

 ...but it has now been moved (and refurbished/recovered more than once.  And more things have been added.  There is one other thing in this that has been with us all 17 years.  Can you spot it?

So, as you can see, there have been a LOT of changes in 17 years, as you would expect.  And we continue to improve both All Decked Out and Smoky Mountain Tower.

The new rate will be $148.57 (plus tax, for a total rate of $167.51).  That's a 17% discount off our current rate - and definitely best deal you will get for the rest of this year (and maybe forever!).  That is all you pay, because we don't charge cleaning fees or registration fees or extra person fees - or any of that stuff.  It's just the nightly rate and tax.

Are we a good deal or WHAT?

We just took our daughter and grandkids to the Biltmore Estate last week.  We really enjoy this place.  Every time we go, we pass this guest cottage:

I decided to do a little checking on this place.  So I talked with a guest-services lady.  She said the cottage has two bedrooms and two baths, and it comes with a maid, butler and chef.  So I asked the price.

Are you ready?  The price is $2,500 PER NIGHT!  But if you don't get the servants, you can save $500 per night.
