Millions more visitors - one more view...

Well, everything on the list is finished (except for the street sign - that comes next month).  So today is supposed to be the day we go back home.  But we woke up this morning to another visitor - who brought millions of friends (if you count every snowflake, that is).  So here's one more view of All Decked Out...

It really is beautiful.  In fact, here's another view of the back deck, with the snow on the trees.

We have so much more to tell you - and show you - about all the things we accomplished for our guests.  So please keep checking back.  Or better yet, come and see it for yourself!

We have a visitor!

We are making progress on our list (see below), but we have a visitor this morning that could slow us down a bit.  Here is the same view from our last post:

No, that's not a new white roof on All Decked Out.  It's SNOW!  As you can see, it's not sticking on the roads - yet!

Now, about our list:
-All the batteries are changed.
-Alex comes to check the fire extinguishers tomorrow.
-The wireless router at All Decked Out should be done tonight.
-I'm heading to the Chalet Village Owners Club office to pay our annual membership fees - if the snow doesn't stop me.
-The street sign isn't up yet.
-If we can get down the mountain, we'll pay our taxes today, and go to the Charter office.
-The wi-fi thermostats at Smoky Mountain Tower are installed and working.  I'll get a picture tomorrow.
-We'll make our usual Walmart run today to buy supplies and parts. And we're sending our maintenance guy a list of several jobs.

And on it goes!

Heading for Gatlinburg...

If the weather clears up a bit and the temperature warms up, we're heading for Gatlinburg today.  We'll be staying at All Decked Out, and this is what we look forward to seeing as we round that last corner:

Will this be vacation, you ask?  'Fraid not.  Here are just a few of the things we plan to do - all to make our cabins more comfortable for you:

-Change all the batteries in smoke detectors, clocks and TV remotes (it's a total of 51 batteries).
-Get the fire extinguishers tested and inspected.
-Install a new wireless router at All Decked Out.
-Go to the Chalet Village Owners Club office and pay our annual membership fees, so our guests can enjoy the pools and tennis courts at the nearby club house.
-Check on the status of a new street sign for the road going up to Smoky Mountain Tower.
-Pay our county property taxes at the Sevier County Courthouse.
-Go to the local Charter office to rework our cable TV/Internet/Phone plan, which is up for renewal.
-Finish installing wi-fi thermostats at Smoky Mountain Tower, so we can turn the heat down when no guests are there (more on that in another post).
-Check everything and make any needed repairs.
