1/12th of the year is gone!

Can you believe it?  Today is the last day of January.  This year is moving very fast!

Our family is keeping track of the year on their custom-made Gatlinburg family calendars.  And one of them is hanging in All Decked Out for our guests to enjoy.  This is the January page, which will get turned over to the February page tomorrow:

This page shows both All Decked Out and Smoky Mountain Tower when we purchased them (in 1996 and 1998, respectively), and what they look like today.

We'll tell you about the February page in a later post.  Better yet, if you stay with us at All Decked Out, you can see for yourself.  The calendar is full of pictures of our family, showing the wonderful times we have had together in Gatlinburg.

Now it's time for your family to start making memories in Gatlinburg.  We hope you can make your reservations quickly, before somebody else grabs your dates.  We had three bookings last night within the space of an hour!

Changes on the Mantle at All Decked Out

Ever since we did the total redecorating at All Decked Out in early 2011, we've been adding new items, moving things around, and continuing our improvements.

This is most evident on the mantle over the fireplace in the Main Room.  We started pretty simply in March 2011:

By last summer, things had changed pretty dramatically.  We moved the vases to other areas and added several new items, including the 'Betsy Ross' and 'Drummer Boy' carolers.  We also had two guests who added some decorations:

Now, after we took down the Christmas decorations a few weeks ago, we did a little more changing:


 Hmmmmm.  I wonder what's next.  You'll just have to come to All Decked Out and find out!
