In my last post, I showed you the view from the Tower deck at Smoky Mountain Tower looking west. After taking that picture, I turned around (to the east) to go back inside. This is what greeted me, coming up through the trees:
Okay, it wasn't
really that close. But it
was that beautiful! I listened carefully to see if I could hear any howling. But all I heard was the sound of a very gentle breeze blowing through the trees.
This picture of the moon - and our 'afterglow' picture before - are just two examples of the beauty we find all around us in Gatlinburg. That's why we love going there, and why we want to share it with all our friends.
